Description & Purpose
ForeverHome is a centralized web platform intended for people interested in adopting and is designed to streamline the adoption journey by connecting prospective parents with children waiting for permanency in Texas. By integrating state-level data on placement agencies, licensed childcare providers, and regional demographics, the site demystifies the adoption process and provides a roadmap for long-term parenting success. Our mission is to promote civic engagement and support underserved communities by making essential legal, educational, and support resources accessible in one responsive interface.

Tools Used
Our site is built with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, hosted on AWS Amplify with domain management through Cloudflare. We used Postman to design and document our API, GitLab for version control, and Google Gemini 3 as an AI assistant for development questions.
